Cue the confetti, because the wait is finally over. Dear Readers, It is my utmost triumph and joy to welcome you all to the Official Blog of the Rotaract Club NMIMS' SOC. This initiative is our honest manoeuvre to promote literary endeavours and communal insights. As the Editor, I hope the words speak with you and convey our sincerity.

Why Polaris?

There was a time when books reigned supreme. A time when the endless tales subdued the boredom. Soon Instagram winked into reality. In this great battle of pixels versus paper, We come forth with a solution. Between the worlds of filter and fantasy, let Polaris guide you to the shores of amusement and joy. Polaris, a solitary star, is the timeless symbol of direction and guidance. We hope this blog page is able to establish itself as a guide in the darkest hours, offering solace and a sense of connection to all. This and the fact that the world desperately needs our quirky commentary.

The Rise of Rotaract Club Of NMIMS' SOC

RC NMIMS' SOC was chartered on 2nd December 2014. The Club falls under the Rotaract District 3141, Zone 2A, and has 10 avenues- 6 event avenues (Community Service, Professional Development, Editorials,

Partner-in-service, International Service, and Club Service) and 4 Support Avenues (Public Relations and Creation, Digital Communications, Marketing, and Operations). The theme for 2023-24 is- “Ignite Change, Illuminate Lives”. Our club works tirelessly to ensure that our efforts resonate with these words

Our Mission

We have a great legacy to uphold and a greater one to create. Our mission, should you choose to read, is to venture into unchartered territories of whimsical flukes, formidable puns, and wildfire humour. We will try to turn your everyday moments into comedic gold.

Our Upcoming Events

Our club has an exciting lineup of events for the coming months. I wish all our readers to dive headfirst into these events and relish the challenges.

1)Soundscape- Bored of the Poetic Predictability? Well, brace yourselves, because we're about to shake it off. No more cliqued rhymes or rhythms. We present to you a literary event unlike any other that combines poetry with music. It is a unique event that will give all participants a chance to harness their creativity.

2)NMIMS ASMSOC Model United Nations- Set against the backdrop of pressing global issues, this event will be a stimulating opportunity. With experienced chairs and a meticulously crafted agenda, MUN is poised to foster an environment of Discussion, Debate, and Decision. The only question remains, Can you handle it?

I am Rtr. Dhruv Singhal, The Director Of Editorials, RC NMIMS' SOC 2023-24. Starting this blog has been an enthralling experience. From its ideation to its actual publication, my primary goal has been to induce a general love for the written word. The entire Editorials crew has been working with unwavering determination to make this blog page a success. We have now laid the foundation of a legacy.
